Author Trinka Hakes Noble visits Brunswick Acres on March 10, 2020!
Brunswick Acres loved having New Jersey author Trinka Hakes Noble visit us on March 10th, 2020! Thank you to the PTO for making this visit possible! Trinka visited with students and shared how she came up with the ideas for her stories, as well as artifacts and interesting insights into many of her books. It was a great day!

Brunswick Acres students had a great visit with an amazing local author, Mrs. Audrey Vernick! From the 5th grade writers' workshop to the kindergarten storytime, we all learned so much about what it means to be an author, get a book published, be inspired by great ideas and local history, and the power of perseverance. Many thanks to Audrey Vernick and The BA PTO for such a great visit!

Brunswick Acres is thrilled to welcome author Audrey Vernick to our school! Ms. Vernick will be hosting programs for Kindergarten through 5th grade students on Tuesday, April 14.
About Audrey Vernick:
Audrey Vernick, the author of “Brothers at Bat” and “Is Your Buffalo Ready for Kindergarten?”, grew up in Whitestone, New York. An avid reader in school, she fell in love with writing when she was in college and has been writing ever since. Ms. Vernick received an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College and has been honored with two fiction fellowships from the New Jersey State Council of the Arts. She lives near the ocean in New Jersey.
As part of her visit, Ms. Vernick will be autographing books for students.
