A database is a collection of online information, including non-fiction articles, books, magazines, reference books, photos and other images, and even web sites. The databases below can help you with homework assignments and research projects. Visit them to learn more about any subject in which you are interested in researching . . . or just to read for fun! Databases are usually classified by subject. They are password protected. Please ask Mrs. Dixon for logins and passwords.

If you have a South Brunswick Public Library card, there is a world of information right at your fingertips! Here's how it works:
- Access the public library website, http://www.sbpl.info/ from any computer.
- From the home page, click on the "Collections" drop down menu.
- Click "Databases A-Z".
- Here you will find a variety of FREE online databases to use for your research.
- Click on the one that sounds right for you - we use Bookflix, TrueFlix, Encyclopedia Britannica, and World Almanac for Kids on a regular basis in library.
- You will be prompted to type in your library card number as a login, then directed to the database.
